DBPPDO is an acronym to denote Don Bosco Past Pupils Development Organization, a non-religious and non-profitable humanitarian and development organization which became operational in the year 2025 after four years of journey as a movement which means March 2022, initiated by former students, youth center members and individual who were linked to the Don Bosco institutions in Ethiopia and Eritrea one way or another. 


Who

We are the Salesian Family member because of the Salesian education which we have received takes an active role to the mission of Don Bosco as the constitution of Society of St Frances de Sales article 5 stated.


Why

To promote the holistic development of youth through Salesian education; foster competency, enhance skill and social support. We aim to enrich social inclusion, support sustainable development initiatives, and produce responsible citizens encompasses moral values.


What

Strive to build a society where empowered, responsible, and value-driven individuals actively contribute to social justice, peace, and sustainable development.

Objectives

1. To create an educated, active and skilled generation by supporting the community through education

2. To provide various supports related to the health sector to address various health problems in the community

3. To carry out various activities that enables the community to become self-reliant and eliminate dependency

4. To respond quickly to man-made and natural disasters and to provide support to resolve them by mobilizing support

We are committed to providing educational, social, and economic empowerment for youth. Our efforts include promoting access to education, vocational training, and healthcare; supporting humanitarian responses during crises; upholding human dignity, peace, justice, and solidarity; encouraging volunteerism; and guiding young people in their career development and journey of life to be responsible and honest citizen.
